Javier Pastore Biography Paris St Germain (born 20 June 1989) is an Argentinean, who currently plays for Italian Serie A club U.S. Città di Palermo and for the Argentina national team. He is usually nicknamed “El Flaco” and, more occasionally, “Huesito”. Until January 2011, Pastore has scored 22 goals and 14 assists on his 103 appearances with three different clubs. He also won the award of Serie a Young Footballer of The Year in 2010.
Career: In 2007, Pastore started his career as a youngster in club Tellers playing in Argentine second division. A year after, he was loaned to Club Atlético Huracán of the Argentine Primera, but he made himself as a regular first team player at the club in the season 2009. Pastore has been the team’s top scorer and a very important player for the club’s title challenge that season. His talent has attracted many European clubs, but it was the Italian club, Palermo that could secure his signature on 11 July 2009 with transfer fee about 8$ million. Regarding to his good performances in clubs, the Argentina national team head coach at that time, Diego Maradona, called up him for national duty in 2010 World Cup.
